I can’t believe it’s been a year today since I started my blog, time flies when you’re having fun! It’s been fun because of all the wonderful talented bloggers and friends around the world who have come my way. So to celebrate I’m having a giveaway here’s your chance to own a “petit oreiller” French for small pillow.

17th century Flemish tapestry fragment

I personally have made these pillows from tapestry fragments that are centuries old, this one is a Flemish fragment from the 17th century woven in wool and silk. The trims are period as well with the white and metallic trim being 18th century, the cording around the edges 19th century. All on a macadamia colored silk velvet, measures 10” x 11” and is a $395 value.

18th century French tapestry fragment

This one is an 18^th century French tapestry fragment depicting acanthus leaves and shell and edged with two 19^th century trims on copper silk velvet. It measures 10 ¼” square and is a $650 value.
