I can’t believe it’s been a year today since I started my blog, time flies when you’re having fun! It’s been fun because of all the wonderful talented bloggers and friends around the world who have come my way. So to celebrate I’m having a giveaway here’s your chance to own a “petit oreiller” French for small pillow.
17th century Flemish tapestry fragment
I personally have made these pillows from tapestry fragments that are centuries old, this one is a Flemish fragment from the 17th century woven in wool and silk. The trims are period as well with the white and metallic trim being 18th century, the cording around the edges 19th century. All on a macadamia colored silk velvet, measures 10” x 11” and is a $395 value.
18th century French tapestry fragment
This one is an 18th century French tapestry fragment depicting acanthus leaves and shell and edged with two 19th century trims on copper silk velvet. It measures 10 ¼” square and is a $650 value.
You'll have your choice of which tapestry fragment pillow you would like to own. All you have to do is become a follower and leave a comment telling me which petit oreiller you prefer. The winner will be announced on the morning of July 12th, that easy! Good luck everyone!

well if you put me in a room with 100 pillows, i would gravitate to the most expensive, hands down. and with that i do love the orange and rust tones as those are my colors. did i miss a post or two that mentioned you were also a seamstress? gorgeous

Congratulations my friend. I so love your blog and look forward to new postings, they are almost as good as seeing you in person. Since I have several of your pillows I would feel bad throwing my name in the hat and would rather you share with some one who hasn't yet beheld their beauty. Keep on blogging!
What a beautiful and special giveaway! Oh dear, how do I choose? I think I like the first Flemish one... of course both would work perfectly in my home, but yes, I would pick the macadamia colored silk velvet... does that sound luscious or what?
I'll be crossing my fingers!
Congrats on your anniversary!!

Congratulations on your Blog-O-Versary. I, too, began blogging last July so mine is this month also. I'm working on a watercolor for a give-a-way.
I'll be posting news of it soon.
In the meantime, I've become a follower and I would love to win one of these pillows. How generous of you to offer these beautiful designs. :)
Congratulations! I will link your Give Away on my blog :-)
Thank you for sharing your home and life in this blog. I have been a follower for a while now. I love your work but the first pillow wins my heart - I love the mix of centuries in the production and Flemish tapestries intrigue me so much.
Best regards,
Jenni
