While I know the official start date for fall is a month away today truly seems like the first day of fall for me. It’s dark, cool and rainy out and our pumpkins are starting to turn orange…..
I planted my urns up with Mums this weekend…….
The hydrangea are starting to get their pink tinge……
A small stray leaf has turned red and fallen to earth…..
And a school bus passed by…….
What does fall say to you?

That yellow school bus means America to us as a baguette might mean France to you.

Fall for me says no more dragging the water hose around to my many pots of flowers. It's cooler weather, sweaters, fires in the fireplace, pumpkins, mums, soup and chili. Add a glass of red wine and I'm in Fall heaven.

What great fall photos- I live in the desert so there is no fall in sight- but having grown up in Toronto my association of fall is the leaves changing and apple picking!
